Darlene Finch is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator for NOAA's Coastal Services Center. In this capacity, she works on coastal management issues from New York in the north to Virginia in the south. Areas of particular focus include: climate change adaptation; regional ocean planning; resilience and recovery planning; regional ocean partnerships; and collaboration. Darlene came to NOAA in 1987 as a National Sea Grant Fellow, and has worked for a number of coastal and ocean programs since then. She received a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Hamilton College.
